Thinking of Building A Pool? Consider Some Possible Consequences

Now, I love my swimming pool. And so does the rest of my family. One of the selling features for us when we bought the house was the pool. We have guests visiting here for a few weeks and they are loving the pool every day. I have a veritable armada of pool toys floating out there right now. But owning a pool brings responsibilities and extra costs - perhaps some unforeseen. This is a good article detailing some of the cons of pool ownership, especially the long-term financial costs. I’m feeling the last comment in the article right now about food costs and friends…seems I’ve got to put on a grill or barbeque party every day now. Good thing I love outdoor cooking!
